2. Oil drop trace method. Take a piece of clean white filter paper and put a few drops of oil on the filter paper. After the dimethyl silicone oil leaks out, if there is black powder on the surface and a sticky feeling when touched with your hands, it means there are many impurities in the oil. If It is of good quality, should be powder-free, dry and smooth to the touch, and have yellow marks.
3. Hand twisting method. Twist dimethyl silicone oil between your thumb and index finger and grind it repeatedly. Better-quality hands will feel lubrication, less wear debris, and no friction. If you feel greater friction such as sand between the fingers, it means that There are many impurities in the oil and it cannot be reused and should be replaced.
4. Oil flow observation method. Take two measuring cups, one of which contains the dimethicone to be checked, and place the other empty on the table. Lift the measuring cup filled with oil 30-40 cm away from the table and tilt it to let the oil slowly flow into the empty cup. Observe its flow situation, good quality should be slender, uniform, and continuous. If the oil flow is fast and slow, and sometimes large chunks flow down, it is said to have deteriorated.
When dimethyl silicone oil deteriorates, if it is not replaced in time, it will accelerate the wear of parts and affect its service life, so corresponding methods can be used for testing.
