Preparation materials: master mold (the actual product to be made), brush, stirring rod, release agent (Vaseline), cotton cloth, glass plate, mold silicone, wooden square (wooden board), small vacuum machine (if you have money, you can buy it (It’s okay if you don’t have one).

Infusion mold operation method:

1. Clean the master mold and spray it with a layer of release agent (Vaseline). If it is a smooth product, you need to use a clean cotton cloth dipped in Vaseline and apply it evenly on the mold. Wait for the mold to fully absorb the Vaseline. (About 30 minutes), wipe the mold with a clean cotton cloth until it is smooth and translucent. If it is a textured product, just apply Vaseline evenly on the mold.

2. Use wooden boards (wooden squares) to surround a regular range, make an outer mold, and fix the mold within the regular range. Make sure there are no gaps in the outer mold to prevent silicone from overflowing.

3. After the above work is ready, start proportioning the silica gel. According to the size of the product, weigh a certain amount of silica gel and curing agent according to 100:2~3 (condensation silica gel ratio), mix and stir evenly, and use a vacuum machine to vacuum and remove bubbles (those who do not have a vacuum machine can pass Reduce the amount of curing agent added and extend the curing time so that the remaining bubbles in the silicone can be naturally eliminated, but this effect is not ideal!). Note: Vacuum to -0.01Mpa and hold for 7-8 seconds! Vacuuming for too long will cause the silicone to undergo a cross-linking reaction during vacuuming.

4. Pour the vacuumed silicone slowly into the mold frame along the top of the mold, allowing the silicone to naturally flow into every part of the mold. Any areas that do not flow can be brushed in place with an oil paint brush.

5. After the operation is completed, wait quietly for the silicone to completely solidify. It usually takes 6-12 hours to demould.

Brush mold operation method:

1. Clean the master mold, use a clean cotton cloth dipped in Vaseline and apply it evenly on the mold, and then fix it on the glass plate.

2. According to the size of the product, weigh a certain amount of silica gel and curing agent according to 100:2~3 (condensation silica gel ratio), mix and stir evenly, and use a vacuum machine to vacuum and remove bubbles (if there is no vacuum machine) You can extend the curing time by reducing the amount of curing agent added, so that the remaining bubbles in the silicone can be naturally eliminated, but this effect is not ideal!). Note: Vacuum to -0.01Mpa and hold for 7-8 seconds! Vacuuming for too long will cause the silicone to undergo a cross-linking reaction during vacuuming.

3. Brush the well-mixed silicone evenly on the surface of the mold with a brush. It usually takes several times, depending on the size of the product. After the first brushing, wait about 30 minutes for the silicone to solidify before brushing a second time. Generally, brushing 3-4 times is enough.
