Vinyl silicone oil in water-soluble silicone oil
Vinyl silicone oil among water-soluble silicone oils is polydimethylsiloxane with a vinyl group at both ends of the molecular chain. It is an excellent and active intermediate material. In addition to its smoothness, softness, brightness, temperature and weather resistance, this product also has the following unique properties:
1. The vinyl groups at both ends have strong reactivity and can quickly add to hydrogen-containing silicone oil (under the action of a catalyst); they can also participate in various other reactions.
2. Compared with branched vinyl silicone oil, the molecule has no pendant chain segments.
3. It has better compatibility with organic materials than methyl silicone oil, and is easier to be compatible with other organic materials.
4. It is used to produce addition-type silicone rubber base compound to improve its physical and mechanical properties such as fluidity and tear resistance.
If water-soluble silicone oil wants to be fully adaptable to any soluble environment, it needs to constantly adjust its focused characteristics. Therefore, there are different types of water-soluble silicone oil, which is also the reason for the existence of vinyl silicone oil.
