The biggest quality requirement for silicone buttons is not to break. In daily applications, there will be a certain probability of cracking. There are many reasons for this. Most of the defects in silicone buttons occur in miscellaneous silicone rubber parts. Of course, silicone buttons are not used during production. There may also be rupture defects. In addition, silicone buttons are also called: silicone buttons, silicone buttons, silicone buttons, silicone rubber buttons, and silicone buttons.
There are six major reasons for failure of rupture:
1. The temperature is too high during molding
Silicone buttons will become brittle if the temperature is too high during molding. After molding, they will easily break and fail. Just lower the molding temperature appropriately.
2. Silicone buttons are not completely vulcanized
When the silicone button molding mold temperature is too low or the vulcanization time is too short, it will cause the product to stick to the mold and be difficult to demould, so it is easy to cause rupture. This can be solved by appropriately increasing the mold temperature or extending the vulcanization time.
3. The surface of the silicone button mold is too rough or dirt accumulates
A mold cavity with a rough surface or accumulated dirt is not conducive to demoulding, and a mold that is not easy to demould is easily broken, and the mold needs to be cleaned or electroplated;
4. Wrong operating techniques when demoulding
When demoulding, many mold masters have not received professional training or are not careful in their work. When demoulding does not follow strict work instructions, it will cause the silicone buttons to break. This requires professional operating skills training for operators or strict work instructions. system.
5. The release degree of the silicone buttons is not good when lifting the mold.
As a result, the product will break during the mold lifting process. At this time, it is necessary to spray an appropriate amount of release agent on the surface of the silicone button mold to continue production;
6. The silicone used for the buttons is too poor
Some factories blindly reduce costs and use inferior silicone button materials, resulting in the production of silicone buttons of very poor quality. The rubber material is too poor, the toughness is not good, and the memory is broken. This is very normal. To solve this problem, you need to replace the button silicone with a better one.
