First of all, silicone molds for making food generally meet food-grade standards and can be placed directly in the mouth. They are generally non-toxic, so you can use them with confidence.

Silica gel is a highly active adsorption material. The color of silicone rubber is white and opaque. It is an amorphous substance and is insoluble in water and any solvent. It is non-toxic and tasteless and has stable chemical properties. It does not interact with anything except strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid. Substances react. It has high adsorption performance, good thermal stability and stable chemical properties. Because of its good stability and resistance to high and low temperatures, silica gel can be heated in a microwave oven at high temperatures without deforming or releasing toxic substances, and it can also be refrigerated in a refrigerator. Because the texture of silicone is close to human skin, and it is non-toxic and odorless, it is also very healthy for children to use pacifiers made of silicone. Moreover, good silicone has an automatic disinfection function, does not stain, and is easy to clean. Many fashionable families now use it. I use silicone kitchenware because it can be cooked in a microwave oven, which saves worry and time, and more importantly, it does not produce fumes.

Silicone mold raw materials

1. The raw materials of silicone kitchenware can be divided into ordinary silica gel and meteorological silica gel according to their performance.

(1) Ordinary silica gel is also called precipitated silica gel.

Color: translucent, milky white, light yellow, gray, etc.

Hardness: 30°, 40°, 50°, 60°, 70°, etc. The commonly used range is between 40°-70°.

Density:1.1-1.12g/cm3

Elongation: 400%

Usage: Most commonly used are mid-to-low-end silicone products such as mobile phone buttons, miscellaneous parts, conductive adhesive, etc.

(2) Weather glue is also known as pure silica gel

Color: Transparent.

Hardness: 30°, 40°, 50°, 60°, 70°, 80°, etc. The commonly used range is between 40°-60°.

Density:1.1-1.12g/c㎡

Elongation: 600%-700%

Features: Because this material has good transparency and strong tensile strength; the cost is relatively high

Usage: Silicone tubes, protective covers and other high-end products that require high elasticity.

2. Silica gel materials can be divided into solid silica gel and liquid silica gel according to their physical properties.
