IOTA PDMS 47V50 - 47V1000 silicone oils are innovative linear polydimethylsiloxane fluids designed to enhance performance in a wide range of applications. These oils offer excellent thermal stability, low surface energy, and high compressibility, making them ideal for use as heat transfer fluids, lubricants, and release agents. They are particularly effective in applications requiring temperature resistance from -50°C to +200°C.
In the textile industry, IOTA PDMS silicone oils serve as lubricants and thermal protectors for synthetic sewing threads. They are also used as diluents and plasticizers in room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone rubbers and sealants. Additionally, these oils are key components in maintenance products like polishes and waxes, as well as in paint additives to prevent shrinkage, floating, and scratching.
Available in viscosities ranging from 50 to 1000 mm²/s at 25°C, IOTA PDMS silicone oils are packaged in 25 kg or 200 kg drums, 1000 kg IBCs, or 20-ton tankers. Proper storage in sealed containers at temperatures between -20°C and +50°C ensures a shelf life of one year from the production date.
