This product is easily soluble in methanol, isopropanol, acetone, xylene, and dichloromethane, and can be dispersed in water.
With a surface tension of 21.5 mN/m at 25°C and an effective ingredient content of 99.9%, IOTA2000 is highly effective in reducing the contact angle between droplets and leaf surfaces. This enhances the wetting, adhesion, and spreading capabilities of the solution on plant surfaces or pest bodies, thereby improving the efficacy of pesticides, herbicides, and other agricultural chemicals.
IOTA2000 is not only effective but also environmentally friendly. It has lower plant toxicity and environmental hazards compared to conventional surfactants like fatty amines and ethoxylated alcohols. This makes it a safer choice for both humans and the environment.
To use IOTA2000, simply add it directly to your pesticide formulation or use it as a tank mix adjuvant. For tank mixing, the recommended dosage is between 0.02% to 0.04%, which translates to 3 to 6 grams per 15 kilograms of spray. When formulating pesticides, the dosage ranges from 0.5% to 5%.
