This product boasts a viscosity range of 15-40 mm²/s at 25°C, a refractive index of 1.390-1.410, and a density of 0.995-1.015 g/cm³. With a volatile content of ≤1.00-4.00%, IOTA202 is designed for a wide range of applications.
IOTA202 can form a waterproof film on various surfaces, including rubber, fabric, glass, ceramic, paper, leather, metal, cement, and marble. It is an excellent choice for waterproofing agents in diverse industries. Additionally, it is used in high-end products like silicone rubber processing and general textile auxiliaries/powder treatment. In the construction industry, IOTA202 serves as a ceramic anti-fouling agent and is utilized in synthetic treatments.
When combined with methyl hydroxy silicone oil emulsion, IOTA202 not only provides waterproofing but also maintains fabric breathability, enhances tear and friction strength, and improves fabric hand feel and sewing performance. It is also effective as a paper release agent and cross-linking agent.
Packaged in 200L plastic-coated iron drums or plastic drums (net weight 200KG/drum), IOTA202 should be stored in a cool, ventilated area away from heat sources and oxidizers. It is transported as a non-hazardous material.
