Enhancing Pesticide Efficiency with IOTA-2000 Agricultural Silicone Surfactant
IOTA-2000 is a high-performance agricultural silicone surfactant designed to optimize the effectiveness of pesticides, herbicides, and foliar nutrients. Composed of ethoxylated trisiloxane and polyether-modified heptamethyltrisiloxane, it significantly reduces surface tension (21.5 mN/m at 25°C), ensuring superior wetting, adhesion, and spreading on plant surfaces or pests.
This versatile adjuvant is compatible with herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides, enhancing droplet coverage and absorption without degrading active ingredients. Its low phytotoxicity and environmental impact make it a safer alternative to conventional surfactants like fatty amines or ethoxylated alcohols.
For tank mixes, use 0.02–0.04% (3–6g per 15kg sprayer). In formulated pesticides, incorporate 0.5–5%. IOTA-2000’s water-dispersible, low-viscosity formula ensures easy application, delivering improved efficacy while minimizing ecological harm.
