This advanced additive significantly reduces surface tension, improving substrate wetting, flow, and gloss while preventing defects like Benard vortices and craters. Suitable for solvent-based, solvent-free, and water-based systems, IOTA 3000 enhances scratch resistance, anti-blocking, and surface smoothness.
With a 99.9% active content, IOTA 3000 exhibits excellent compatibility across formulations. Key properties include a low surface tension (22.7 mN/m at 25°C), viscosity of 300–1200 cst, and water solubility (transparent solution). Its versatility makes it ideal for waterborne paints, latex coatings, inks, and high-gloss finishes. Recommended dosages: 0.3–1% for water-based/solvent-free systems and 0.05–0.5% for solvent-based systems.
Packaged in 25kg/200kg plastic or iron drums, IOTA 3000 has a 12-month shelf life when stored sealed at 5–40°C. A non-flammable, non-hazardous material, it meets stringent safety standards.
