IOTA-110-F Series Fluorosilicone Gum – The Ultimate Base for High-Performance Elastomers

IOTA-110-F Series Fluorosilicone Gum is a high-molecular-weight poly(methyltrifluoropropylsiloxane) featuring vinyl functional groups on side and terminal chains. As a heat-curable fluorosilicone elastomer base, it serves as an essential raw material for producing premium fluorosilicone compounds. Products made from this gum combine the best properties of silicone and fluorocarbon rubbers, including exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures, solvents, and excellent electrical insulation.
This versatile material is ideal for demanding applications across military, aerospace, automotive, petrochemical, and medical industries. With a clear, transparent appearance and adjustable vinyl content (0.1–1.0 mol%), it offers flexibility in formulation. Typical molecular weight ranges from 600,000 to 1,400,000, with a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100°C) of 9–16 and low volatile content (<2% after 3 hours at 150°C).
Packaged in 25 kg cartons as a non-hazardous material, it has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place. Note: The product exhibits cold flow—handle with care to avoid leakage.
