Iota Silicone Oil( Anhui) Co., Ltd. is proud to introduce IOTA 202 Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Fluid – a high-performance silicone oil designed for exceptional waterproofing and surface protection across a wide range of materials. With a hydrogen content of ≥1.55% and a viscosity of 15–40 mm²/s at 25°C, this product offers excellent film-forming capabilities under low-temperature conditions with the help of metal salt catalysts.
IOTA 202 is ideal for waterproofing rubber, textiles, glass, ceramics, paper, leather, metal, cement, and marble. It also serves as a key component in silicone rubber processing, general textile auxiliaries, powder treatments, and building material synthesis such as ceramic anti-fouling agents. When used in combination with methyl hydroxy silicone emulsion, it enhances fabric breathability, tear strength, abrasion resistance, stain resistance, and overall hand feel. Additionally, it functions effectively as a release agent and crosslinker for paper.
Packaged in 200L plastic-coated iron or plastic drums (200kg net weight each), IOTA 202 should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area away from heat sources and oxidizers. It is classified as a non-hazardous material for transportation.
