Ideal for a wide range of cosmetic applications, IOTA 9600 serves as an effective thickener in both water-in-oil and water-in-silicone systems. Its unique properties help reduce tackiness in formulations while enhancing the cosmetic benefits of cyclic silicones. With a non-volatile content of ≥14% and a viscosity range of 250,000–580,000 cP, this product ensures consistent performance and ease of integration.
IOTA 9600 can be easily incorporated into various formulations—including sun care, color cosmetics, skin care, and hair products—without the need for high-shear processing. It disperses readily in silicone or organic oils and can be pre-blended with dimethicone, esters, or hydrocarbons to adjust viscosity. For best results, we recommend using it at 1–20% in the total formulation.
Packaged in 20 kg plastic or 200 kg iron drums, IOTA 9600 is non-hazardous and has a shelf life of two years when stored sealed at room temperature.
