IOTA 110-F: Where Silicone Meets Fluorine for Extreme Performance
In the demanding worlds of aerospace, automotive, and chemical processing, material failure is not an option. Meet IOTA 110-F Series Fluorosilicone Gum – the high-performance base elastomer engineered to excel where others fall short. This unique polymer masterfully combines the exceptional high and low-temperature resistance of silicone rubber with the superb solvent and fuel resistance inherent to fluorocarbon elastomers. The result? A material that delivers unparalleled performance across a vast thermal range and in aggressive chemical environments.
The IOTA 110-F series is a high molecular weight poly methyl trifluoropropyl siloxane, featuring vinyl groups on its side and end chains, making it ideal for heat-curing applications. With a typical molecular weight ranging from 60,000 to 140,000 (80±20 / 120±20) and customizable vinyl content (0.1%, 0.3%, or 1.0% mol), it offers exceptional flexibility in compound design. Its low Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100°C: 9-16) ensures excellent processability, while its low volatile content (<2% after 3hrs at 150°C) guarantees the production of high-integrity, high-performance finished parts with minimal voids or defects.
This versatile base gum is the starting point for formulating advanced fluorosilicone compounds used in critical seals, gaskets, hoses, and insulating components. Its superior properties make it indispensable for military hardware, aircraft engines, automotive fuel systems, oil and gas equipment, and even medical devices. Choose IOTA 110-F to push the boundaries of what's possible, ensuring reliability, durability, and superior insulation in your most challenging applications. Packed 25 kg per carton, this non-hazardous material has a 12-month shelf life when stored correctly. Partner with innovation; specify IOTA 110-F.
