Key to their performance is an outstanding innate adhesion to nylon 66, eliminating the need for primers in many airbag applications and ensuring fabric integrity. The low-viscosity formulation allows for effortless automated feeding and uniform coating application. Despite their fast cure cycle at elevated temperatures, these materials provide an extended working time post-mix, granting greater control on the production line.
With hardness options of 30 and 40 Shore A, both grades deliver robust mechanical characteristics, including a tensile strength of 5.0 MPa and a tear strength of 10 KN/m. LSR 3730 offers high elasticity with 400% elongation, while LSR 3740 provides a slightly firmer feel at 350% elongation. Supplied in a convenient 1:1 mix ratio with components packaged in 200kg drums, integration into existing systems is seamless.
