Introducing IOTA LSR 3053Y-2.5, the innovative addition-cure liquid silicone rubber engineered for superior self-lubrication and exceptional ease of use. Designed to deliver lasting lubricity without external additives, this two-part system offers a perfect 1:1 mix ratio, ensuring consistent performance and simplified processing. With outstanding release properties and rapid thermal curing, it significantly reduces cycle times while enhancing productivity in demanding applications.
Ideal for self-lubricating silicone tubes, seals, and various precision components, LSR 3053Y-2.5 maintains excellent mechanical integrity—featuring a hardness of 50 Shore A, tensile strength of 9 MPa, elongation up to 500%, and tear strength of 35 KN/m. Its low viscosity (290 mPa·s at 23°C) ensures smooth flow and detailed replication, making it perfect for complex molds.
Formulated with platinum catalyst in Part A, this grade requires careful handling to avoid catalyst poisoning. Always use components from the same batch to guarantee optimal results. Packaged in 200 kg drums for both A and B components, it offers a shelf life of 12 months when stored unopened below 23°C.
