Engineered for Extremes: IOTA HTV 329 Silicone Rubber for High-Performance Seals & Tubing
When your application lives on the edge of thermal limits, your materials need to follow suit. IOTA HTV 329 Series is a specialized silicone rubber designed to endure continuous exposure to temperatures as high as 350°C—perfect for high-heat sealing solutions and demanding extrusion profiles.
With a range of Shore A hardness values—40, 50, 60, and 70—the series offers tailored mechanical responses for varying compression and wear requirements. The material maintains a stable density profile, and all grades feature consistent coloration for uniform end products. The Williams plasticity ratings (150–240) ensure smooth handling during compounding and molding.
But what truly sets IOTA HTV 329 apart is its performance post-thermal aging. After 72 hours at 300°C, the material shows minimal change in hardness and retains strong tensile strength and elongation properties. For instance, IOTA HTV 32940 maintains over 350% elongation after aging—an indicator of its long-term flexibility and durability.
Packed in 20 kg cartons and best used within three months of opening, IOTA HTV 329 is both user-friendly and production-ready. Store it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, and it remains stable for up to one year from manufacture.
