IOTA 3110-F Fluorosilicone Gum – Engineered for Extreme Environments
When applications demand both fuel resistance and wide-temperature flexibility, the IOTA 3110-F Fluorosilicone Gum series delivers unmatched performance. This high-purity polymer combines the best of silicone and fluorocarbon chemistry: a siloxane backbone with trifluoropropyl side groups, offering an operating range from -60°C to 200°C. Unlike conventional fluororubbers, it retains silicone’s tensile strength at elevated temperatures while resisting fuels, oils, solvents, and methanol swelling – making it ideal for aerospace seals, automotive gaskets, chemical plant valve linings, and even medical devices.
The IOTA 3110-F series is available in three vinyl content grades (0.04%, 0.30%, and 5.0%), all with a molecular weight of 800,000–1,000,000 and low volatiles (≤3%). Vinyl-terminated structure ensures better crosslinking efficiency and improved physical-mechanical properties, while our unique D3F-based polymerization delivers uniformly distributed side-chain vinyl groups for higher crosslink density and better rebound resilience. With consistent quality, low odor, and excellent thermal stability, this gum simplifies compound formulation and reduces batch-to-batch variation.
Packaged in 20 kg cartons with inner plastic liners, and stable for 24 months when stored below 40°C in original unopened packaging, IOTA 3110-F is shipped as non-hazardous goods. Whether you are developing fuel-resistant O-rings, low-temperature diaphragm seals, or chemical-resistant pump parts, this fluorosilicone gum provides the reliability your critical components need.
Choose IOTA 3110-F – where silicone elasticity meets fluorocarbon durability.
