Beat the Heat with Precision – IOTA-HTV 330 Series Thermally Conductive Silicone Rubber
When thermal management meets high-volume molding efficiency, the IOTA-HTV 330 Series delivers exactly what modern electronics manufacturing demands: reliable heat transfer, consistent mechanical strength, and process-friendly curing.
Designed for compression molding applications, this silicone rubber series covers a wide hardness range from 30 to 80 Shore A, giving engineers the flexibility to tailor material stiffness for gaskets, tapes, pads, and other thermal interface solutions. Whether you need a soft conformable pad or a firm structural spacer, there is a grade within the 330 family to match your assembly requirements.
Thermal conductivity spans from 0.5 to 2.0 W/(m·K), making it suitable for dissipating heat from power modules, LED lighting, automotive electronics, and consumer devices. The DBPMH curing system ensures clean, odorless vulcanization with excellent heat aging resistance, so finished parts maintain their performance over extended service life.
Mechanical properties remain robust across the portfolio. Tensile strength reaches up to 2.35 MPa, while tear strength stays between 0.8 and 0.9 MPa, providing good durability during die-cutting, handling, and installation. Elongation at break varies from 6% to 11.3%, allowing slight deformation to accommodate uneven mating surfaces without cracking.
Processing is straightforward: add 1% of a 50% DBPMH paste curative, mold at 175°C for 5 minutes under 15 MPa pressure, and achieve consistent results batch after batch. The compound accepts pigments and can be blended with other fillers if application-specific modifications are needed.
All grades comply with RoHS and REACH requirements, supporting global market access and environmental responsibility. Packaged in 20 kg cartons, the material stores stably for up to one year in unopened containers when kept cool and dry. For best results, we recommend using within three months of opening; if stored longer, simply increase the mixing time to restore full processability.
From high-thermal-conductivity pads to thin, flexible tapes, the IOTA-HTV 330 Series offers a practical balance of heat transfer, strength, and moldability. Contact our technical team to discuss grade selection and processing parameters for your specific design.
