Uncompromising Performance in Extreme Conditions – Discover IOTA FHTV 3401H Series
When your applications demand a rubber that refuses to fail under heat, fuel, and mechanical stress, the IOTA FHTV 3401H Series sets a new benchmark. Engineered as a high-strength fluorosilicone elastomer compound, this series combines the best of fluorocarbon and silicone chemistry to deliver exceptional oil resistance, solvent resistance, and thermal stability across a broad temperature range.
The FHTV 3461H and FHTV 3471H grades offer distinct hardness profiles – 60 and 69 Shore A respectively – allowing you to choose the right balance of flexibility and structural integrity. Both exhibit impressive tensile strengths above 11.3 MPa and tear strengths reaching 30 kN/m, ensuring durability in dynamic sealing and hose applications. Even more striking is their resistance to compression set: after 22 hours at 177 °C, values remain as low as 10–11 %, meaning your seals maintain their shape and sealing force over extended service life.
Heat aging at 225 °C for 72 hours reveals remarkable stability, with hardness changes of only +2 points and tensile strength retention above 76 %. Volume swell in Fuel C is limited to approximately 20 %, confirming exceptional resistance to aggressive aromatic hydrocarbons. For optimal curing, we recommend 0.6–1.0 part of 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)hexane, with a typical post-cure of 200 °C for 4 hours. Packaged in convenient 20 kg cartons, this product offers a 12-month shelf life when stored in a cool, dry environment. Whether you are designing aerospace fuel systems, automotive turbocharger hoses, or industrial chemical seals, the IOTA FHTV 3401H Series delivers the toughness and reliability your project deserves.
