The synthetic method of hydrogen-containing silicone oil
Hydrogen-containing silicone oil is one of the materials commonly used by everyone. It has been loved by everyone in recent years. In order to let everyone know more about it, let me share with you the synthesis methods of it. Hurry up Come take a look with me.
1. Halosilane method
The starting materials of this method are methylhydrogendichlorosilane, dimethyldichlorosilane and solvent, which are hydrolyzed and decomposed in the reactor, and then telomerized with or solid acid catalyst. After the reaction, the oil layer is desolvated and low-boiling product, and then decolorized and filtered to obtain the finished product; (disadvantages: violent reaction, difficult to control, complex process, and a large amount of HCl gas will be released during the reaction)
2. Ring-opening copolymerization method
Use octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane ( D4 ) and tetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane ( DH4 ) for ring-opening copolymerization. The reaction is generally carried out under a nitrogen atmosphere. The catalyst can be sulfuric acid, p-toluene, sulfonic acid or acid clay ;(Disadvantages: the reaction process is more violent, the price of raw materials is expensive, and it is currently limited to laboratory research)
3. High hydrogen-containing silicone oil telomerization method
Utilize high hydrogen-containing silicone oil, octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4) and hexamethyldisiloxane (MM) for telomerization reaction under acid-catalyzed conditions, the catalyst can be sulfuric acid, trifluoromethanesulfonic acid or Solid heteropolyacid.
