Simethicone oil is non-toxic, tasteless, physiologically inert and has good chemical stability. It has good electrical insulation, weather resistance, hydrophobicity, and high shear resistance, and can be used for a long time at -50°C to 200°C. Do you know how to detect simethicone? Let's take a look.
Oil flow observation method. Take two measuring cups, one of which contains the simethicone oil to be checked, and the other is empty on the table, raise the full oil measuring cup 30-40 cm away from the table and tilt it to let the oil slowly flow into the empty cup In the middle, observe its flow situation, the good quality should be slender, uniform, continuous, if the oil flow is fast and slow, and sometimes there are large pieces flowing down, it is said to have deteriorated.
Lighting method. On a sunny day, use a screwdriver to lift up the simethicone at a 45-degree angle to the horizontal. Contrast the sunlight, observe the condition of the oil droplets, under the light, you can clearly see that there is no wear debris in the oil, it is good, and it can continue to work. If there are too many wear debris, it should be replaced.
Hand-twisting method. Twist the simethicone oil between the thumb and index finger and grind it repeatedly. A better quality hand feels lubricated, less wear debris, and no friction. If you feel a large friction feeling such as sand grains between your fingers, it means There are many impurities in the oil, so it can no longer be used and should be replaced.
Oil drop trace method. Take a piece of clean white filter paper, and put a few drops of oil on the filter paper. After the simethicone oil leaks, if there is black powder on the surface, and you feel a sticky feeling when you touch it with your hands, it means that there are many impurities in the oil. If It is of good quality, should be free of powder, dry and smooth to the touch with yellow traces.
