We all know that two-component silicone is composed of silica gel and curing agent. To cure the silicone, a certain proportion of curing agent must be added. So what is the correct ratio of liquid silicone to curing agent? According to the type of two-component liquid silicone, It is divided into addition type liquid silica gel and condensation type liquid silica gel. Different types of silica gel have different proportions.

1. The ratio of condensation silica gel to curing agent is as follows:

1. Add 1.5% curing agent, the colloid will still flow in 2.5 hours, and can be demoulded in 10-12 hours.

2. Add 2% of curing agent, and it will still flow in 20-30 minutes, and can be demoulded in 2-3 hours.

3. Add 3% curing agent, the colloid will still flow in 28 to 30 minutes, and can be demoulded in 1.5 to 2 hours.

4. Add 4% curing agent, the colloid will still flow in 10 to 15 minutes, and can be demoulded in 1 to 1.5 hours.

2. The ratio of addition silicone to curing agent is as follows:

1. Translucent silicone, the ratio of silicone to curing agent is 1:1 by weight.

2. Highly transparent silicone, the ratio of silicone to curing agent is 10:1 by weight.
