The composite material made of liquid silicone rubber as the insulating matrix and nano-conductive carbon black particles as the filling material has excellent conductive properties. Through experimental tests, the resistivity of the composite material under different carbon black contents was obtained. Zou Rui et al. used vinyl liquid silicone rubber as the matrix and nickel-plated graphite as the conductive filler to prepare conductive silicone rubber. The study found that when the amount of nickel-plated graphite is 280 parts, the volume resistivity of the composite material can be reduced to 0.1Ω· cm below.
Addition liquid silicone rubber is widely used in the electronic and electrical industry due to its good thermal stability and thermal conductivity. As a heat dissipation material for electronic devices, addition liquid silicone rubber can effectively transmit heat, improve heat dissipation, and extend the service life of electronic devices. However, the thermal conductivity of addition-type liquid silicone rubber without thermal conductive additives is very small and cannot be industrially produced. Commonly used thermal conductive additives include Ag, Cu, Ca, Al2O3, AlN, BN, etc. The type, content, particle distribution and surface modification of thermal conductive additives can all affect the thermal conductivity of liquid silicone rubber.
