Foamed silica gel is an environmentally friendly, non-toxic and tasteless liquid material. It consists of two components, A and B, which can be mixed at a ratio of 1:1. It can be vulcanized at room temperature or heated. After vulcanization, it becomes an elastic and light sponge material. Product weight can be substantially reduced.

How to use and precautions for foamed silica gel for filling electronic products
1. Preparation
① Prepare a clean mold (it is recommended to evenly coat a thin layer of vaseline-based mold release agent on the surface of the mold for anti-sticking mold), stirring container, electric mixer, and stopwatch.
②Determination of operating time: Add A and B rubber materials in a ratio of 1:1 (about 10g each) into a plastic cup, and immediately stir manually until the rubber materials have no fluidity. The recorded time is the operating time.
2. Mixing
Put the A and B rubber materials into the mixing container in a ratio of 1:1 in turn, start the electric stirrer and stir well, then pour into the mold. 3. Matters needing attention
① Suggested amount of rubber input:
Feeding amount g=mold volume cm3/(foam multiples-1)
② Determination of electric stirring time:
If the above operation time is 4 minutes, and it takes 2 minutes for the rubber to fill the mold cavity, then the machine stirring time can be set to 90-120 seconds (the above stirring speed is set to 1000R/MIN, when the stirring speed is faster, the stirring time is more decrease accordingly).
③Generally, the longer the stirring time, the better the foaming effect.
④ Stirring temperature has an effect on foaming, so avoid excessive temperature.
⑤The foaming effect in the closed mold is better.
