IOTA 4100: High-Performance Defoaming Wetting Agent for Aqueous Systems Overview:
IOTA 4100 is a specially modified polysiloxane copolymer designed as a multifunctional additive offering substrate wetting, anti-cratering, flow enhancement, and defoaming properties. Its unique foam-free and wetting characteristics make it ideal for spray coating, high-speed roller coating, and hard-to-wet surfaces. It is compatible with aqueous polyurethane, acrylic, and epoxy systems.

Chemical Composition:
Acetylene-modified silicone gemini surfactant.
Physical Properties:
Appearance: Light yellow transparent liquid
Active Content: 100%
Refractive Index (25°C): 1.440–1.450
Viscosity (25°C): 20–60 cp
Surface Tension (0.1%): <23 mN/m

Features:
IOTA 4100 significantly reduces surface tension, improving substrate wetting and leveling. Recommended dosage: 0.1–1.0%.

Applications:
Enhances wetting and prevents cratering in water-based coatings on difficult substrates
Improves substrate wetting for printing inks
Suitable for synthetic leather release paper wetting

Packaging & Storage:
Available in 25 kg plastic pails or 200 kg iron drums. Store sealed at room temperature with a shelf life of 24 months.
