Consistent Molding Performance – IOTA-HTV 313 Silicone Rubber Series
For manufacturers of high-strength silicone products, consistency is key. The IOTA-HTV 313 Series of high tear strength molding silicones is formulated to deliver reproducible results across production runs. Common applications include seals, straps, elastic bands, decorative items, and protective covers.
This series includes seven product codes — IOTA-HTV 31320 through 31370 — each tailored to a specific hardness level. Elongation at break ranges from 400% to 850%, allowing flexibility in part design. Density varies between 1.10 and 1.23 g/cm³ depending on the grade, offering lightweight yet durable options.
Processing is straightforward. Using 1.0% of a 50% active peroxide curative (double 2,5), the material cures at 175°C for 5 minutes under 15 MPa pressure. The resulting 2 mm thick test samples demonstrate reliable tear strength and tensile performance, helping molders reduce scrap rates and improve cycle efficiency.
The IOTA-HTV 313 Series also complies with major international standards including ROHS, REACH, and FDA, supporting your regulatory needs for consumer or food-contact items. Easy demolding properties further enhance productivity in automatic or semi-automatic compression molding lines.
Store unopened below 50°C for up to 18 months. For specifications beyond the typical data provided, please consult our sales team. Upgrade your production with a silicone rubber that balances strength, safety, and stability — choose IOTA-HTV 313 Series.
