Engineered for Strength – IOTA-HTV 313 Series for High-Performance Molded Parts
Looking for a silicone rubber that combines high tear strength with excellent processability? The IOTA-HTV 313 Series is your solution. Designed for molding applications such as protective covers, watchbands, wallets, rubber bands, and accessories, this series delivers reliable mechanical performance and consistent results.
Available in six hardness grades — from 25 to 70 Shore A — the IOTA-HTV 313 Series allows manufacturers to select the exact material behavior needed for their final product. With tensile strength up to 8 MPa and tear strength reaching 30 kN/m, these grades offer excellent resistance to cutting and tearing during both demolding and end-use.
The material is semi-transparent and processes smoothly with 1% of 50% active bis(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl) peroxide (double 2,5) under standard compression molding conditions (175°C × 5 min × 15 MPa). Plasticity values range from 140 to 280, ensuring good flow and mold filling.
Importantly, the IOTA-HTV 313 Series has passed ROHS, REACH, and FDA compliance standards, making it suitable for applications requiring regulated material safety. Packaging is available in 20 kg cartons, and when stored unopened below 50°C, shelf life is 18 months from production.
Whether you are producing high-elongation parts (up to 850%) or more rigid components, this series offers a balanced combination of strength, safety, and processing ease. Contact our team for technical support or to request samples for your specific molding trials.
