High Tear Strength & Processability – IOTA-HTV 319 Series for Demanding Rubber Parts
Looking for a silicone rubber that combines high tear strength, stable processing, and compliance with international standards? The IOTA-HTV 319 Series (31930, 31940, 31950, 31960, 31970) is a range of fumed silica reinforced silicone rubbers designed for producing automotive components and other high-strength specialty parts.
Key advantages:
Excellent tear strength (up to 45 KN/m)
High elongation (up to 900%)
Adjustable hardness from 30 to 70 Shore A
Density ranges from 1.08 to 1.20 g/cm³
Tensile strength up to 9 MPa
These transparent/translucent grades are tested and compliant with ROHS, REACH, and LFGB requirements, making them suitable for applications requiring material safety and regulatory acceptance.
Processing:
Recommended curing: 1.0% of 50% active peroxide (2,5-bis(tert-butylperoxy)-2,5-dimethylhexane), 175°C × 5 min × 15 MPa, to prepare 2 mm thick test specimens.
Packaging & storage:
Comes in 20 kg packages. When stored unopened at or below 50°C, the shelf life is 18 months from production date. After this period, full performance testing is recommended before further use.
Whether you need consistent mechanical properties or ease of molding, the IOTA-HTV 319 Series provides reliable performance. Contact our sales team for specification support.
