The FHTV 3461H and FHTV 3471H offer medium to high hardness options. Both grades maintain tensile strength above 11 MPa, high elongation, and tear strength over 29 kN/m. Compression set remains low at 10–11%, ensuring long-term sealing efficiency.
Heat resistance is verified at 225°C for 72 hours, showing minimal changes in hardness and good retention of tensile strength and elongation. Fuel C immersion results indicate volume swell around 20–21%, well within typical fluorosilicone ranges.
Processing is straightforward. Recommended peroxide: 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)hexane at 0.6–1.0 phr. Curing can be adjusted based on part thickness and method. The compound is supplied in 20 kg containers and should be stored away from heat and moisture.
