Simplify Thermal Interface Manufacturing – IOTA-HTV 330 Series Delivers Consistency and Versatility
Producing reliable thermal interface materials does not have to mean compromising on mechanical performance or production speed. The IOTA-HTV 330 Series of thermally conductive silicone rubbers brings together controllable hardness, tunable thermal conductivity, and proven molding stability in one comprehensive product line.
With seven standard grades covering hardness values from 30 to 80 Shore A, this series allows designers to choose the exact compressibility and resilience needed for each application. Lower-hardness grades conform easily to rough surfaces, while higher-hardness grades resist deformation under clamping pressure – ideal for repeatable gap filling in stacked assemblies.
Thermal conductivity values range from 0.5 up to 2.0 W/(m·K), providing effective heat spreading for components ranging from low-power ICs to medium-density power converters. The incorporation of thermally conductive fillers does not compromise the rubber’s inherent flexibility, and the DBPMH curing system ensures uniform crosslinking throughout thick sections.
Key physical properties remain application-friendly: tensile strength varies from 0.8 MPa to 2.35 MPa depending on the grade, tear strength is maintained between 0.8 and 0.9 MPa, and elongation at break extends from 6% to over 11%, offering a useful combination of toughness and give. Density ranges from 1.0 to 2.35 g/cm³, allowing lightweight designs where weight reduction is a priority.
Production efficiency is built into the formulation. With a recommended curing condition of 175°C for 5 minutes at 15 MPa, cycle times stay short, and the material flows well into intricate mold geometries. The compound is supplied in 20 kg cartons, ready for compounding with the specified curative. If stored beyond three months after opening, a slightly extended mixing cycle restores its original processing characteristics.
The entire series meets RoHS and REACH criteria, giving manufacturers confidence in regulatory compliance. Whether you are producing thermal tapes, die-cut pads, or custom-shaped insulators, the IOTA-HTV 330 Series offers a dependable foundation for heat-management components.
