After 72 hours of aging at 225°C, hardness shifts are minimal (≤3 points), and the retention of tensile strength and elongation remains well within acceptable limits for high-temperature under-hood and aerospace environments. When enhanced heat stability is required, the formulation readily accepts thermal additives without compromising its bonding or processing characteristics.
From a production standpoint, the IOTA FHTV 3502 series offers excellent processability. The recommended peroxide (double-25) loading range of 0.4–0.7 parts is forgiving, and the suggested cure schedule – 170°C/15 min primary plus 200°C/4 h post-cure – yields consistent physical properties across batches. Packaged in sturdy 20 kg cartons and stable for 12 months under proper storage, this product line is both practical and performance-driven.
