Enhance Food Safety with IOTA M20-306L Silicone for Baking Mats
IOTA M20-306L is a specialized addition-cure silicone rubber developed for food-contact applications such as dough mats. Its excellent flow properties, food-grade compliance, and strong substrate adhesion make it a top choice for manufacturers seeking both quality and safety.
The platinum-cured system consists of two parts: A (transparent, 1,000 mPa·s) and B (semi-transparent or light yellow, 65,000 mPa·s). The mixing ratio is 2:100 (A:B), resulting in a mixed viscosity of 60,000 mPa·s. After curing, the material reaches a Shore A hardness of 40, with tensile strength ≥6 MPa, elongation ≥300%, and tear resistance ≥10 kN/m.
Important notes: Avoid contamination to prevent catalyst poisoning. Color should be added only to Part B before mixing with Part A.
Packaged in 2 kg (A) and 200 kg (B) pails, the product has a 12-month shelf life under 23°C. It remains usable beyond this period with proper performance testing.
